So I figure that before we move any further into this relationship, we should get to know each other. So back in January 2008 Scott Taylor & Rebecca Taylor had taken their wonderful vision for a bike shop and turned it into a reality. Scott uses his Jedi knowledge and experience to convert what he learned in the bike industry over 25 years and on the trails, riding one of his many steeds (29er!!) he is the now joined by Nigel Page, Mike Wilms & Matt Hoffman.
…I know what your thinking BMX fans and No, not that Matt Hoffman, a much more awesome version of the name. Matt Rides four-cross, dirt jumps, whistler and generally anything with big hucks or massive flow! Currently riding a Brodie Cretin at the Abbotsford Indoor for the winter four-cross series.
“Nigel Page, where do I know that name from?” You probably know him from such things as ‘the time you blew up your fork’ OR the classic, ‘my brakes are squeaking.’ Either way Nigel has probably worked on your bike. Our in house Pro Mechanic, Nigel brings years of experience with anything from your 1950s Schwinn to your brand new Rocky Mountain Flatline.
And then there is Mike Wilms, me. I don’t have an interesting name, nor am I famous for being the best mechanic in the area. But I love anything two wheeled! I ride four cross, BMX, fixed gear bikes most often, but I just love bikes and that’s something that related to everyone here in the shop and anyone who comes in.
So here it is, the shop:
